Jamba Juice

 February 10th, 2009 by notbadfilms ( Email )

I wrote a complaint letter to Jamba Juice regarding the use of polystyrene (styrofoam) cups. This is what they wrote back:

Hello Jeffrey,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. You are a valued customer and I applaud your efforts. Jamba Juice continues to aggressively seek out an alternative packaging solution to the polystyrene that we currently use with vendors as well as other food & beverage brands. Our main focus is finding another option that not only maintains the temperature, quality, consistency and integrity of our smoothies, but is also friendly to the environment.

In the meantime, you are welcome to bring in your own re usable mug and we will be happy to fill it and give you a 10 cent discount.

Jamba Juice is equally passionate about our product, our customers and the world we live in . I will be more than happy to forward on your feedback to the appropriate teams and I want you to know that your voice WILL be heard.

We hope to provide our customers an alternative in the very near future.

Sincerely,
Alexandra Rodriguez
